How to Plan a Nice Date (for Preteens and Teenagers)

Are you a preteen or teenager? Are you dating and have no idea on where to go for a date? If you said yes to the questions above, you are at the right place. Use this guide to help you.

Things You'll Need

  • Money. The amount depends on the date, so plan ahead and make sure you have enough. Coming up short is very embarrassing.

Steps

  1. 1
Know some of the things your partner likes. What kind of food does he/she like to eat? Is he/she into sports? If so, which ones?
    1. Introduce them to your favorite activities. If you want you could share something that you really like with your date. Make sure that it's something they can enjoy the first time though and that you help with it.
  2. 2
Find a specific place your partner likes, such as a restaurant, near your area. Doing so will satisfy your partner, without traveling far.
  3. 3
Ask your crush what time and day they think would be the best for your date.
  4. 4
Make sure both of your parents know about your date. Tell them where are you going, when will you get there, and what time you will be back.
  5. 5
If neither you nor your partner has a driver's license, arrange for a parent or an older sibling to drive the two of you to your destination.
  6. 6
Be prepared to bring an appropriate amount of money. If you are the one that asked the person out, then you are expected to pay. However, some couples may prefer to split the cost.

    Tips

    • Ask your date's friends for suggestions. Unless you were friends before you started dating, your date's friends will know more than you do.
